Mr.He Xiangjian donated 6 billion yuan in public welfare

On July 25, 2017, Guangdong He Foundation donation ceremony was held in Foshan, with more than 6 billion yuan. He Jianfeng, president of He Foundation, said he will devote himself to the public welfare all his life, passing the pure, grateful, low-key value to the next generation.

Luyi, party secretary of foshan, Rao Meiyi, deputy director of Guangdong provincial department of civil affairs, Chen Yisong, president of Citic Holdings Co.,Ltd, Bang Min, party secretary of district committee of Shunde, Peng Chong’en, district mayor of Shunde, Hong Bo, president of Midea, together with He Xiangjian, honorary president of He Foundation, founder of Midea, attended the donation ceremony.

At that day, He Xiangjian Foundation officially changed its name to He Foundation, which can be inseparable with He Xiangjian and his family’s charity culture. Mr.He said that it is our responsibility to create He Foundation and dedicate ourselves into charity work.

Afterwards, 6 billion charity system donated by Mr.He officially appeared, which can be concluded by “2+4+5” donation frame, involving in 2 charitable trusts, 4 philanthropic foundations and 5 charity societies. 100 million shares of Midea Group plans to operation by charitable trust. 2 billion yuan is used in setting up “ Shunde Community charitable trust.” 1.5 billion yuan will be donated to He Foundation, De Qi Charity Foundation, Desheng Community Charity Foundation, Shunde Innovative Public Welfare Foundation, Guangdong Charity Foundation, Shunde Foundation, Beijiao Foundation and Xijiao Foundation. These  charities will run the specialisation of charity programs.

Infore Group regards charity as its secondary career, aiming at promoting normalization and institutionalization of enterprise charity. The company will carry out long-term thinking and planning practice for charity. In addition, the foundation actively conducts local public welfare support projects to fund 145 local projects. Set up He Xiangjian scholarship to help more than 2,100 poverty students. Cooperated with Sun yat-sen university, China charity research institute to start Shunde public welfare charity talent research class. At the same time, donate to Beijiao middle school, South China University of Technology, Xijiao welfare association, Beijiao Charity and Shunde Charity.

He Xiangjian and his family have further measures to the concept, culture, work way and inheritance system from enterprise and personality donation at early times to professional platform and then to system's sustainable charitable foundation operation and to 6 billion yuan for sustainable charity planning.

President He Jianfeng said that the charity foundation will work in four areas: "first-rate foundations, influential projects, professional governance, philanthropic exchanges and cooperation in new strategic planning. And the charity foundation will focus on education and medical field which is both traditional and creative.
